Bondi Club Pty Ltd – Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Bondi Club Pty Ltd (“Club Bondi”, “we”, “us”), Suite 4, 130 Curlewis Street, Bondi NSW 2026, Australia. They govern your use of the Club Bondi mobile application (the “App”) and this website. By applying for membership, creating an account, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the App.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to apply for or hold a membership. Club Bondi is a geo-restricted community intended for residents of Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs; we may decline or revoke membership where eligibility requirements are not met. You must provide accurate, current information in your application and profile, and keep it accurate.

Application and membership

Membership is by application. Our committee reviews applications at its sole discretion and we do not guarantee acceptance, a decision within any particular time, or reasons for a decision. Applications may remain on a waitlist. Declined applicants may re-apply after 90 days. Referrals you submit must be people who actually know you and have consented to being named. You must set your Instagram profile to public for the duration of the review; we use it solely to verify your application.

Subscription and billing

Access to the member features of the App requires the Club Bondi Monthly subscription — $29.99 AUD per month (displayed in your local currency in the App Store). Subscriptions are purchased through, billed by, and auto-renewed by Apple. Your subscription renews each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, via iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions, or in the App via Profile → Settings → Manage Subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We may change subscription pricing with reasonable notice; changes apply from your next renewal.

Community conduct

Club Bondi is a small community built on trust. You agree not to:

Harass, threaten, abuse, or defame other members, in or out of the App
Impersonate anyone or create a profile with photos or details that aren’t yours
Use the App for commercial solicitation, promotion, or spam
Post content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or depicts violence
Share other members’ profiles, photos, messages, or identities outside the App — respect the privacy of the community
Use the App if you are under 18, or facilitate use by anyone under 18

Breaches may result in content removal, suspension, or permanent removal from the community without refund of any period already billed by Apple.

Your content

You own the content you post — photos, prompt answers, and messages. By posting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute that content within the App for the purpose of operating the service. All photos are automatically moderated at upload, and we may remove content that violates these Terms or our community standards. We never use your content for advertising without your separate, explicit consent.

Safety

We vet applications, but we do not conduct criminal background checks, and we cannot guarantee the conduct of any member. Use your judgment when meeting anyone, meet in public places, and tell someone where you’re going. Use the in-App Block and Report tools — every report is reviewed within 24 hours and treated confidentially. In an emergency, always call 000.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time via Profile → Settings → Delete Account; deletion is immediate and permanent. We may suspend or terminate your membership if you breach these Terms, if your conduct puts members at risk, or if required by law. Apple subscriptions are managed separately and must be cancelled in iOS Settings — deleting your account does not cancel your subscription.

Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t promise matches, dates, or relationships, and we don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bondi Club Pty Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of the App, including the conduct of other members, whether online or offline. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited (at our election) to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of re-supply.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

Changes and contact
